Zach and I are trying to incorporate more vegetarian eating into our planning and reduce our focus on having meat be the centerpiece of every meal. We just placed an order for more protein powder and tried some new flavors from our favorite brand and I wanted to share them here. I’ve been ordering from True Nutrition for years: They have a huge selection of different kinds of protein, but the one I find myself ordering over and over again is the Whey Isolate – Cold Filtered. I always have plain, unflavored, unsweetened protein powder to add to my morning smoothies, but their Trueflavor™ flavors are excellent with none of the weird bitter aftertaste that a lot of other powders have. I’m particularly fond of the Fudge Brownie and the Chocolate Peanut Butter cup. If you use protein powder, I highly recommend them.

I’m hoping the new fireplace will come in sometime in February and once it’s installed, I’ll be able to tile the fireplace surround. I’m trying to pick out what kind of tile I want and I’m still wavering back and forth between a classic marble and a more colorful option. I put together a Pinterest board with all the options that appeal. Hopefully I can make up my mind and order the tile soon. Some of the patterns that I like: Mediterranean Patchwork, Fiorelle, Casablanca Sky.
